One day when I was in the traditional market in Abu Dhabi I saw a strange accident. I never saw that before and it never happened in front of me at all. I was talking with a sales man when somebody stole money from another customer in that shop.
I got panicky and confused. I didn’t know what to do. Should I tell the customer or should I scream. What would be the right action? I was thinking that it was not my problem and I should leave without taking any action. Later I thought of the other customer: maybe he needed that money for some important thing or maybe he needed it for treatment, drugs or some important need.
I decided to do something, so I followed the thief and told him that I saw his action. The thief was listening to me when I explained that he did something wrong and he had to return that money to its owner.
We had to give back the money in a smart way, so we followed the owner to his car and then we told him that some money had fallen from his pocket. The owner was very happy and he gave the thief some money to thank him for returning it.
