Reflection 4

To write a good Compare & contrast essays:
I write an introduction paragraph about the two things which I’m going to compare.
In the second paragraph I compare and discuss about 3-4 similarities.
In the third paragraph I contrast and discuss about 3-4 differences.
Then I write any other interesting points of information.
In the concluding and a conclusion paragraph I give my final opinion.

Reflection 2

Narrative essays:
I learned how to write a good narrative:
I create an outline of my narrative parts and I describe each part.
I think as a reader and I don’t present unimportant details.
I use past simple for something that happened in the past, like I did, I went, I had ….
I use past continuous for some thing which happened while I’m doing some thing else, e.g. I was reading a book when my phone rang.

Reflection 1

I learned how to write a good procedure essay:
I read the tasks carefully and I make a short outline.
I write about 2-3 sentence introduction to clear the topic.
I use linking words, e.g. First, Second, Then, After that, Finally.
I use the imperative form, e.g. Do this, do that, don't do this
I use varied vocabulary and sentences.
I write a conclusion and I describe how easy or difficult it is.
I use the imperative form, i.e. do this, do that, don't do this, etc.
